The following fiscal information was published today: Fiscal Note No. 1, zero, Senate Rules Committee Senators Reinbold, Costello offered Amendment No. 1 : Page 1, following line 15: Insert new material to read: "WHEREAS it is the position of the Senate that a health care provider may not administer a COVID-19 vaccine to an individual without first obtaining the informed consent of the individual or, if the individual is a minor child, of a parent or guardian of the minor child; and" Senator Reinbold moved for the adoption of Amendment No. 1. Senator Begich objected, then withdrew his objection. There being no further objection, Amendment No. 1 was adopted. 2021-02-12 Senate Journal Page 0207 Senators Reinbold, Costello offered Amendment No. 2 : Page 1, following line 15: Insert new material to read: "WHEREAS the Senate supports that an individual or a parent or guardian of a minor child may object to the administration of a COVID-19 vaccine based on religious, medical, or other grounds, and that a person may not require an individual to provide justification or documentation to support the individual's decision to decline a COVID-19 vaccine or to decline a COVID-19 vaccine for a minor child; and" Senator Reinbold moved for the adoption of Amendment No. 2. Without objection Amendment No. 2 was adopted.
